President's Message

I haven't changed out too many pumps in response to SDG&E's rebate program, but it seems that everyone needs a new filter. Go figure. Yes, the swim season is upon us. Are you prepared? Have you raised service rates to at least cover the anticipated increase in gas prices? Don't forget that the price of all supplies, etc., will increase with the price of gas (transportation costs). I was about to say "enough said", but I don't think we can say enough about being adequately paid for the professional services we provide our clients. Bob Cummings has put together a short rate survey to be completed at the general meeting. It's that time of year.

The Water Watcher cards will be available at the June general meeting. As Rick Bishop said,
"it has been a long haul". Rick and I are developing a brochure to hand out with the cards.

We would like chapter input on providing food at the June general meeting. Mike Gregg and I will provide a few options for consideration at the May meeting. Keep informed (attend the meetings) of the outcome so you will know if you should skip dinner, eat a snack or eat dinner prior to the June meeting.

Jon
